- Be conscious of your body movements
- Make sure your slides, handouts or notes are key points or phrases, not full text
- Take it in turns making eye-contact with everyone in the audience - even junior people
- Sound interesting, speak clearly and vary the tone of your voice
- Sound passionate and enthusiastic about your topic
- Invite questions only at the end after summarising your key points
